Fall with its warm colors, its abandoned fruits, after the light and the heat of summer, bringing the desire for shadows and introspection. The desire to close one’s self up in a room and to let the world outside behind becomes a need. The walls become a screen, a place for meditation. The fragrances grow intense, the silence exalts their power.
The chiaroscuro breaks into the outlines of shapes. The light reveals, shadow emphasizes. Fruits become poetry, the dream explodes before their natural magic, nature observed through the play of light and shadow.
The juicy grapes, a poetic photogram capturing the dark skins. Pears and pomegranates outlined in the image, with majestic emphasis. A rare and subtle harmony, which from the contrast and uncertainty of the chiaroscuro allows the forms to stand out, alive and suffering, on the background of the fall landscape.
